Residential customers who qualify for the TID CARES Program receive an $11 discount on the residential customer charge, as well as 15% off the first 800 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of use each month.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the CARES Program, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be a residential customer receiving electric service under residential rates.
- The total gross household income must conform to the Income Guidelines as specified in the table below.
- You are not claimed as a dependent on another person’s income tax return.
- The service address shown on the application is your primary residence.

Income Guidelines
To qualify for the program, your household income must not exceed the following amounts:

| 1-2 | $40,880 |
| 3 | $51,640 |
| 4 | $62,400 |
For households with more than 4 people, add $10,760 for each additional household member.
