ENERGY STAR CLOTHES WASHER – $50

Requirements:

New unit must be Energy Star® certified.
Residence must have an electric dryer.

ENERGY STAR CLOTHES DRYER – $50

Requirements:

New unit must be Energy Star® certified.

INDUCTION STOVETOP – $300

Requirements:

Range measuring 30″ or larger.

ENERGY STAR REFRIGERATOR – $50

Requirements:

New unit must be Energy Star® certified.
New unit must replace an existing refrigerator.
New unit must be ≥ 14.0 cu. ft.

ENERGY STAR DISHWASHER – $50

Requirements:

New unit must be Energy Star® certified.

Energy Star electric heat pump water heater.

ENERGY STAR HEAT PUMP WATER HEATER – $500

Requirements:

New unit must be Energy Star® certified.
EF factor of 2.0 or greater.
First hour rating of 50 gallons or greater.
Must be installed outside the air-conditioned living space, such as attic, garage, crawlspace or unheated/unfinished basement.

Heating and Cooling

HVAC Tuneup – $50

Requirements:

Tuneup must be performed by a licensed HVAC contactor
Contractor must complete the Contractor Verification with the application
Must be a single-family residential dwelling

Limitation:

(2) per customer account per year
Renters are required to have property owner sign the rebate application
Rebate cannot exceed purchase price
Cannot be combined with HVAC Replacement or new installs

CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONER – $500

Efficiency Requirements:

Split Systems – 15 SEER2
Packaged Systems – 15 SEER

Requirements:

Must meet minimum efficiency requirements.
Rebate for replacing existing home A/C or adding new unit.
Cooling capacity <65,000 BTUs (5.4 ton).
Split system requires matching evaporative coil.
Split systems using water/evaporative-cooled condensers may be eligible provided the air conditioning system has a current (not archived) AHRI reference number and efficiency rating.
Rooftop installs must be code-compliant for inspection access.

CENTRAL HEAT PUMP – $1,000

Efficiency Requirements:

Split Systems – 15 SEER2
Packaged Systems – 15 SEER

Requirements:

SMART THERMOSTAT – $50

Requirements:

New unit must be Energy Star® certified.

DUCTLESS MINI SPLIT A/C or HP- $350/TON

Requirements:

New A/C unit must be Energy Star® certified.
New Heat Pump unit must be rated 15 SEER or greater.

Limitation:

Maximum 5 ton.
Limit (4) rebates per household during useful life (18 yrs).

ENERGY STAR ROOM AIR CONDITIONER – $50

Requirements:

New unit must be Energy Star® certified.

WHOLE HOUSE FAN – $100

Requirements:

Residence must have air conditioning.

General Improvements

SUN SCREEN – $1/SQUARE-FOOT

Requirements:

Screen must be rated to block at least 80% of the sun’s heat.
Area must be air conditioned.

ENERGY STAR POOL PUMP – $200

Requirements:

New unit must be Energy Star® certified.
New unit must be a variable speed pool pump.
Must be installed on a new or existing in ground pool for primary filtration.

RESIDENTIAL WINDOW REPLACEMENT – $2/SQUARE-FOOT

Requirements:

Rebate for replacement of existing exterior home windows with new Energy Star® qualified windows.
Windows must be Energy Star® certified and/or have a u-factor of 0.5 or less.
Must be installed according to the manufacturer’s instruction on south, east, or west facing windows.
Products must be installed in an air conditioned living space.
New construction is not eligible.
Doors are ineligible.
Must apply within 6 months of purchase and installation.

SHADE TREE – UP TO $50

Requirements:

Select a deciduous tree.
Trees must be planted within 15 feet of building foundation.
Trees must be planted at your electric service address and on your property.
Renters are required to have the property owner sign the rebate application.

Electrification

G2E CENTRAL HEAT PUMP – $4,000

Program will close effective March 21, 2025. All applications and required documentation must be submitted no later than March 21, 2025 and we cannot reserve or guarantee funding.

We will continue to offer our $1,000 Central Heat Pump rebate for qualifying systems, while funding is available.

Requirements:

Range measuring 30” or larger.

Photo of unit installed.
Receipt must reference unit model #.
Contractor invoice must show cost to cap off or remove propane or natural gas and install electric connection.

G2E ENERGY STAR HEAT PUMP WATER HEATER – $1,000

Requirements:

New unite must be Energy Star certified.
EF factor of 2.0 or greater.
First hour rating of 50 gallons or greater.
Must be installed outside the air-conditioned living space, such as attic, garage, crawlspace or unheated/unfinished basement.

Proof of the Energy Guide with Energy Star Logo.

Terms and Conditions:

All applications must include a receipt/proof of purchase in addition to the supporting Documents Required listed per program.
New unit or product must be installed and operating in a residence in the TID Service Area.
Rebate application must be received within six (6) months of product purchase date.
Programs are subject to change or termination without prior notice. Please visit www.tid.org/rebates for details on current programs. You may also call (209) 883-8432 to verify your efficiency measure qualifies for a rebate.

Before purchase or installation:

Keep a copy of all documents submitted; documents will not be returned.
Please allow four to six weeks for your application to be processed.
Discrepancies can invalidate the rebate application.
Approval of rebate is at the sole discretion of TID.
Rebates are subject to inspection and verification by TID.
All rebates are subject to additional rebate specific requirements.
TID is not responsible for any items delayed or lost in the mail.
