TID invites teachers and schools within TID’s service territory, grades 4-12, to participate in the inaugural TID Art Contest. The contest seeks to engage teachers and students with their community-owned utility, while providing an opportunity for students to express their artistic interpretation of this year’s theme: Energy Efficiency Heroes.
Winners will be selected from each grade category (4-6, 7-8, 9-12)
The contest is open April 1st through May 5th.
2025 Theme: Energy Efficiency Heroes Students, power up your creativity and power down your energy use. Show us how people can be energy efficiency heroes. TID wants to see how you are powering the future with energy efficient choices.
Eligibility: Teacher-sponsored project. Open to students in the 4th through 12th grade who attend school in TID’s service territory.
Accepted Media: 2-dimentional artwork using crayons, markers, pencils, paint, pastels, oil, acrylic paint, etc.
Deadline: May 5, 2025

Drop Off: Turlock Office: 333 E. Canal Drive Turlock CA 95380 or Ceres Office: 2944 Third Street, Ceres, CA 95307. Classroom artwork can be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
